About the company
A university professor was mesmerized by how playing as an effective learning mechanism preceeds culture and formal teaching. Indeed, this learning technique is also used by animals, where play is essential training for survival! Ancient Greeks believed in the power of game-based learning and modern research shows it is extremely successful throughout all the ages and for all levels of education. Yet, we still dismiss playing as a non-serious activity for young children or an activity for nerds with poor social skills.
She wanted to explore teaching school curricula through boardgames, because learning doesn’t have to be boring—playing can be a powerful way to learn!
